This beautiful detached luxury villa is located just outside the charming town of Tamariu, about 1 km. from the beach and downtown. This place offers different activities to undertake, for instance you can walk from Tamariu to other seaside towns such as Llafranc, Aigua Blava, Fornells and Calella de Palafrugell (this route is called the Camino de Ronda). These Spanish villages with beautiful beaches are all definitely worth a visit and you will get for free unique views of the Mediterranean Sea!
The Tamariu beach itself is a beautiful sandy beach with a small avenue with various restaurants serving delicious "tapas" which you can eat on the patio in the Spanish sun, what more do you need?
Apart from the coast, staying at home with this villa is not a problem at all, Villa Mimosa has a garden of 925 m2 and a private swimming pool with a lovely terrace with sun beds and a terrace with a large dining table, comfortable chairs and a barbeque.
The villa consists of two floors. On the ground floor you can encounter the spacious living room with satellite TV, fireplace and sliding doors to the terrace, luxury kitchen with all appliances, separate dining room, one double bedroom and bathroom with toilet and shower. On the 1st floor are 3 double bedrooms (all with access to the balcony, ceiling fans and which overlooks the pool and the wooded area) and the other two bathrooms (with bath/shower and toilet). Under the house you can find the garage and the "laundry" with washer and dryer.

Wir waren mit zwei Familien (7 Personen) in der Villa Mimosa und sehr zufrieden. Der Gastgeber ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Lage ist ruhig, gepflegt und schön. Das Haus ist zwar schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen und zeigt normale Gebrauchsspuren an Wänden, Türgriffen und Möbeln, ist aber trotzdem sehr gemütlich und einladend. Terrasse und Pool sind perfekt zum Entspannen. Grillen war wegen Waldbrandgefahr nicht erlaubt (verständlich). Tipp: Moskitospray mitbringen, da es in der Umgebung in Tamariu viele Mücken gab. Abends haben wir meist drinnen gegessen, was dank viel Platz angenehm war. Die Doppelbetten sind für größere Personen etwas schmal mit eine Matratze (französische Betten 140–150 cm, Einzelbetten 80 cm), aber bequem. Küche sehr gut ausgestattet. Zum Strand benötigt man zu Fuß etwa 10 Minuten. Der Rückweg ist etwas anstrengender, da der letzte Teil bergauf führt, aber wir fanden das nicht schlimm. Wir haben uns im Haus sehr wohlgefühlt und empfehlen es gerne weiter.

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Villa Mimosa in August 2025, the villa was exactly as described and the ceiling fans in the upstairs bedrooms was particularly welcome in the hot weather. We contacted the villa agency regarding a couple of issues during our stay which were swiftly addressed. The villa was well located to walk down to the beach and local restaurants, but it is a steep walk back afterwards. Fine for the kids, but harder work for the adults.My children loved the swimming pool which was a great size and it was maintained each week during our stay. We would definitely go back if we visited the area again.

Flott hus med god plass. Nydelig svømmebasseng. Skulle ønske det var mulig å leie i noen flere dager, ikke bare hele uker. Eneste problem var oppvaskmaskin som streiket litt, men det ble raskt tatt tak i og forsøkt fikset.

Vi havde et rigtig ophold, som opfyldte alle vores forventninger og lidt til. Skønne faciliteter til en dejlig ferie med flere generationer. Vi havde ønsket, at vi havde haft flere nætter, men det må blive næste gang.

Wouter and Liduin run the Fincasas agency and are true professionals, making our stay super easy and comfortable with great communication throughout. The house is a bit outside the village but therefore very quiet. It has everything you need for a lovely stay. Nice comfy beds, swimming pool, and a well equipped kitchen. Nearby walks along the coast are spectacular and the Tamariu beach is very nice.

Cosy villa close to the heart of Tamariu, walking distance from the beach and several restaurants. Tamariu is a very beautiful spot on Costa Brava and the area from Callela to Begur is just stunning. The house was equipped with everything you need, so you quickly feel at home. To note that the road back from the beach involves a steep walk up the street although being short. The only downsides was that the drain of the kitchen sink got completely clogged, however, Wouter and Astrid were quick to respond and to send a maintenance guy which kind of fixed it but after 2 days it started to show signs of clogging again. And the moskitos - this is at another level - we felt being eaten alive as they are present all day long and there are no moskitos nets on any of the windows which is kind of a must.. Anyway, overall we had a great stay and enjoyed ourselves at villa Mimosa.

Nos encantó la casa! Muy espaciosa y cómoda, piezas y camas de buen tamaño, baños en buen estado y duchas exquisitas. Éramos dos familias, cuatro adultos y cuatro niños, y todos disfrutamos mucho. La espectacular piscina es lo más lindo de lugar, sin duda. La cocina también es muy cómoda, equipada con todo lo necesario. La casa queda en una calle tranquila, y luego de una pequeña caminata ya estás en el centro del pueblo y en la playa. Hay lugares para comprar todo lo necesario. En resumen, una muy buena estadía y repetiría sin duda 🙂

Lovely house approximately 10 minutes walk from the beach - very easy, though as it is maybe 100m elevated, coming back from the beach is a slight climb. Well laid out, well appointed house that the pictures convey well. Good pool with large deck area. Wouter's communication & service made the booking and check-in/check-out process very smooth and simple. Highly recommended.

Wij hebben het heel prettig gehad in Villa Mimosa. Gelukkig hebben wij donderdag ook geen last meer gehad van de werkmannen op het perceel achter het huis! Dank nog voor jullie adequate aanpak en prettige manier van reageren op de 'overlast'.
